Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) has entered into Agreements with multiple contractors to provide specialized instruction and consulting services for the Heritage High School (HHS) Music Program. Additionally, the contractors will serve as support to the Band Director in assisting with Winter Guard Visual Services for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year and the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.
The contracts are as follows:
Kaylie DeHaro / color guard design & instruction / $21,600
Colleen Mounts / bass & vocal instruction / $13,440
Nichole St. Onge / color guard & winter guard instruction / $13,200
Adonai Mejia / Visual Instruction Specialist / $18,000
These Agreements shall be for one (1) year from December 5, 2022, through December 4, 2023, for a total amount not to exceed $66,240.
This item is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need for services to commence in alignment with Winter Guard and Winter Drumline season and the untimely receipt of proposals from the contractors.

The cost for this item is included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through the Arts, Music, and Instructional Materials Discretionary Block Grant, not the General Fund.
