Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District, City of Perris, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, City of Menifee, and Menifee Police Department have agreed to share the cost for School Resource Officers (SROs) beginning July 1, 2022. The Agreements with the respective agencies were approved by the Board of Trustees on April 13, 2022.
The City of Perris agreed to cover fifty percent (50%) of the Perris High School SRO at their City Council meeting on February 22, 2022. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) memorializes that agreement and provides for the protocols for invoicing and reimbursement. The term of this MOU is from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, and may be extended for an additional one (1) year term and up to a total of four (4) additional years.
