Summary:
|
On November 5, 2021, the District issued a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for contractors for the Paloma Valley High School Improvements project (“Project”). The District received nine (9) responses, reviewed them based on criteria set forth in the RFP, and determined that the Miller Construction, Inc. (“Contractor”) proposal provides the best value for the District. This resolution approves the selection of Contractor as the lease-leaseback Contractor for the Project, authorizes the District to negotiate contract documents with the Contractor, which will be brought to the Board for consideration and approval at a later date, and enables Contractor to begin providing preconstruction services for the Project.

Funding:

There is no cost to this item until a contract is brought before the Board of Trustees for approval. The eventual cost will be based on a percentage of construction costs, initially based on estimated construction costs and ultimately adjusted to actual construction costs.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 12:21-22 - Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Perris Union High School District Approving the Selection of a Lease-Leaseback Contractor for the Paloma Valley High School Improvements Project.
