Summary:
|
In accordance with Education Code Section 42127, on June 6, 2022, the Board of Trustees held a Public Hearing regarding the District's Budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year. Prior to opening the Public Hearing, the Board, the public, and all other interested parties heard a report that provided factors used in developing the budget, the District's current financial condition, multi-year financial projections, and other relevant factors. Pursuant to the Board's previously adopted fund balance policy, the Board may designate a portion of their reserves as a committed fund balance. The committed fund balance does not fall within the local reserve cap of 10%. Resolution No. 41:21-22 authorizes a committed fund balance for 2022-23.
