Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District entered into an Agreement with Wyndham Hotel and Resorts for the lodging of approximately forty (40) school district employees from six schools (Heritage High School, Liberty High School, Paloma Valley High School, Perris High School, Pinacate Middle School, and California Military Institute) and Educational Services to attend the 2022 Wellness Together Conference for School Mental Health. The number of employees is based on those confirmed to attend thus far. The Agreement was executed and necessary in order to reserve a block of rooms and keep the staff together in one hotel site.
The Conference will be held from September 13, 2022, through September 14, 2022, with lodging at the Wyndham Hotel, San Diego Bayside.
The total cost of lodging for all conference participants is approximately $10,865. The California Military Institute (CMI) will be billed for its portion of the cost per the Memorandum of Understanding between the Perris Union High School District and CMI once a final number of CMI employee attendees is determined.
This Agreement is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need to execute a deposit in a timely manner in order to reserve the block of rooms.
