Summary:
|
The Heritage High School Agricultural Research Center (ARC) was completed on the Heritage High School (Heritage) Campus in 2012. This facility includes a greenhouse building. The District has identified the need to conduct repairs to the greenhouse facility. The Environmental Controls System has been identified as needing repairs and replacement of environmental control system components. This work will include the installation of a new control system, new framing for the mounting of the new control system, and electrical work needed to install the new control system.
Additionally, an existing electrical circuit will be installed to connect the evaporative system pump to the main electrical panel. The greenhouse is a vital part of the agriculture program at Heritage and, as such needs these repairs to continue servicing the students that make up the agriculture program. A proposal was received for this work from Kira Construction. The work to replace the greenhouse environmental controls system at Heritage will be done at a cost of $30,179.59.
