Tri-R Gen- Perris Lake Video Production Portable Construction Services Agreement-2021.pdf
Summary: The Perris Union High School District Facilities Department requested proposals from qualified contractors to remodel portables 1 and 2 at Perris Lake High School.  TRi-R Gen. Contractors, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive proposal for this work.  These portables will be remodeled to house a new video production program.  These improvements will include the removal of 18 feet of wall between portables 1 and 2 to join the 2 portables with a bridge creating a larger space.  Electrical, LED lighting upgrades, infilling a window, and painting of the interior of both rooms are part of the remodel of these rooms.  The Perris Lake Video Production Portables Remodel Project will be paid through the Local Control Accountability Plan and California Career Technical Education Incentive Grant (CTEIG) program.

The CTEIG Program has been established as a state education, economic, and workforce development initiative with the goal of providing pupils with the knowledge and skills necessary to transition to employment and postsecondary education.  The purpose of this program is to encourage the development of new Career Technical Education (CTE) programs and enhance and maintain current CTE programs.  It is the intent of the Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) to utilize both the Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental Concentration funds and CTEIG funds to upgrade the facilities at Perris Lake High School to create the Video Production Program and offer Career Technical Education pathways as determined by labor market demands and local surveys.  This project will be constructed by Tri-R Gen. Contractors, Inc. for a total cost of $43,100.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through the Local Control Accountability Plan and Career Technical Education Incentive Grant, not the General Fund.
