Summary:
|
Cpt. David Sibley, the Senior Military Instructor, has submitted a request for an overnight field trip request for CMI cadets to participate in the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA) to be held at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County, California, February 11-13, 2022. The purpose of NCOA is to train the cadets on how to become and lead as a non-commissioned officer within the California Cadet Corps and CMI. This academy will also teach them the core fundamentals of Non-Commissioned Officers, such as how to utilize leadership traits, train junior cadets, and work with them as non-commissioned officers. The NCO cadets will experience a safe, military-style learning environment. It is anticipated that approximately fifty (50) cadets will participate in the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, with ten (10) adults chaperoning. There is no cost for cadets attending the NCOA. March Air Base Reserve will provide room, board, and transportation.
