Summary:

The Perris Union High School District would like to retain the services of Cherished Memories for a one-year renewal term from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
Cherished Memories has successfully provided photography and identification card (ID) services at all sites in the District, including the California Military Institute. The students and school sites have been extremely happy with the quality of the product and services that Cherished Memories have provided.
The cost for this item is paid by students purchasing photography packages at each participating school site. The ID cards are provided free of charge to all sites, and there is no cost to the District as long as the sites do not exceed their annual allotment. If the site exceeds its annual allotment, the cards can be purchased by the site at $1 per card.
The initial term of the original Agreement was from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023. The Agreement included up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms. This term, from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, will be the first of the four (4) additional one (1) year terms.

Funding:

No fiscal impact. The cost for this item is paid by students who select to purchase photos. If a site exceeds its annual ID card allotment, the cost will be funded through the General Fund or the Charter School.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Cherished Memories for photography and identification card services.
