Summary:
|
On September 22, 2022, the DISTRICT successfully reached a third agreement with the certificated bargaining unit. The agreement included an ongoing salary increase of 6.44% effective January 1, 2023. Pursuant to Article 10 - Compensation, Section 10.2.1 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Perris Union High School District and the Classified School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter #469, all classified employees shall also receive the same salary increase provided to any other bargaining unit. This is frequently referred to as the “me too” provision.
In addition to the above-noted salary increase, CSEA and the DISTRICT reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide all classified employees with a one-time off-schedule payment of $4,000. This off-schedule payment shall be paid in November 2022 (5M pay warrant) for all classified employees in a paid status as of November 1, 2022.
