Summary: The Perris Union High School District entered into an Agreement with ConnectEd in September 2022 to support the planning and design of the Linked Learning approach for Liberty High School and to do an orientation for district leaders. This new Agreement will provide follow-up support for Liberty High School (LHS) and continued work with the District Leadership team to ensure the Foundation is in place to support LHS in planning and implementing the Linked Learning approach. The vision is to add to the scope of work completed in 2023-24, including an end-of-summer check-in with each Pathway Team, school visits, learning walks with the Administrative team, a project implementation review, and professional development sessions to support site team needs. ConnectED will provide regular consultation calls and support site visits with district leadership teams for pathway planning, implementation, and follow-up. It will also develop action plans, plan workflows, agendas, and master schedule support and provide feedback on all aspects of the pathway design. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, for a total contract cost not to exceed $74,900.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2024-25 operating budget funded through the Career Technical Education Incentive Grant, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement with ConnectEd for planning and design of the link learning approach for Liberty High School and District leadership support.
