Summary:
|
Facilities staff has requested proposals for electrical upgrades required for the California Military Institute Esports Lab. The electrical upgrades include the addition of electrical outlets, circuits, conduit pathways for electrical and data wiring, an electrical sub-panel, and a connection to the main electrical panel for operation. These improvements are necessary for the California Military Institute’s new esports lab. The staff has worked with Anderson Electric to plan the necessary electrical upgrades and has entered into an Agreement with Anderson Electric to complete these upgrades. The cost of this Agreement is $32,500.
This item is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need to expedite the services in order to have the Esports lab computers and furniture delivered and installed, as the Vendor is currently storing them until this work can be completed.

The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through the Charter Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds and Arts, Music, and Instructional Materials Discretionary Block Grant, not the Charter General Fund.
