Summary: The Perris Union High School District utilized the services of Eric Hall & Associates (EH&A) to conduct a compensation study of management positions. The compensation study was conducted between August 2022 and November 2022. The final report was provided to the District on January 16, 2023. In the report, several management positions were identified to be out of alignment with the comparable districts. To remain competitive and ensure fair compensation for our employees, staff recommends revising the Athletic Director/Dean job description to Assistant Principal/Athletic Director and increasing salary placement on salary schedule #253 Row 1. Upon approval, incumbents will be reclassified as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director, effective July 1, 2023.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2023-24 operating budget.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Revised Job Description - Athletic Director/Dean and salary placement as presented.
