Summary: The Perris Union High School District requests to continue the subscription with PowerSchool Group LLC to provide applicant tracking services, specifically for the recruitment of high-quality staff. This software improves the accuracy, efficiency, and customer service within the Human Resources Department. From the moment candidates apply for a position, they will have access to status updates. Documentation that has traditionally been completed by hand and tracked via hard copy will be completed electronically. The efficiency and accuracy of the onboarding process for both Human Resources staff and prospective applicants are significantly improved.

Furthermore, all paperwork and employee orientation can be handled electronically and customized for each individual applicant. Hiring managers will have immediate access to see the progress of their recommended new hires. Future employees can obtain and complete documentation with fewer trips to meet with district staff and are provided with automatic checks for incomplete information prior to submitting paperwork for review. Built-in, customizable email templates ensure applicants stay informed of their status throughout the process.

The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, at a total cost of $26,800.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through Title II Funds, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement with PowerSchool for applicant tracking and records.
