Summary:
|
The District would like to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with GovDeals, Inc. to provide an online auction system for the District to post and sell assets that have been declared as surplus property.
The services include maintaining and operating the online auction system, training, and support services, assisting with pricing unique assets, listing strategies, auction marketing, payment collection, and providing reports on assets. Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) will have complete visibility and control over the entire auction process. PUHSD will continue storing surplus items at our facility until an item is sold. The District will elect to utilize GovDeals' Financial Settlement Services (FSS) to collect proceeds for auctions, including a Buyer's Premium of 10% to cover GovDeals' fee. GovDeals will issue payment for proceeds to the District on a weekly basis when assets have been sold and paid for. A detailed backup will be submitted to the District to support the amount remitted.
This Memorandum of Understanding shall be from December 19, 2022, through December 18, 2025.
