Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement with Rescue A Generation, Inc. to provide a motivational speaking assembly for Heritage High School, Paloma Valley High School, Perris High School, Perris Lake High School, and Pinacate Middle School. The intent is to help students increase pro-social behavior and enhance their ability to engage with the world around them. Rescue A Generation, Inc. utilizes motivational speakers and musical artists and encourages crowd participation through contest games held during the assembly production to engage, encourage, and inspire students to persevere in all they do by fostering knowledge, skills, and attitudes across five areas of social and emotional competence.
The term of this Agreement shall be from January 8, 2024, through January 30, 2024, at a total cost not to exceed $20,000.

The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through the Ethnic Studies Fund, not the General Fund.
