Summary: Paloma Valley High School (PVHS) and Perris High School (PHS) would like to enter into multi-year Agreements with Hudl to record practices and games for their athletics program. The Hudl software allows all sports teams to upload game and/or practice film for coaches and teams to review and assess; this further assists with team improvement. Hudl also provides athletes the opportunity to access films/clips that they can highlight and post to their social media or use for college recruitment purposes. Hudl is the industry standard used by the majority of athletic programs and is a necessary component to increasing their competitiveness and continued growth. PVHS and PHS have used Hudl in past years and have been satisfied with its services. These Agreements will allow PVHS and PHS to benefit from the program at a fixed cost for three (3) years without worrying about annual cost increases. The term of these Agreements shall be from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2026; for a total contract cost of $24,000 per school site. These Agreements are being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need to sign the contract for program implementation purposes. Nonetheless, the term of the contract and services provided through the agreement will not commence until July 1, 2023.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26 operating budgets funded through the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Multi-Year Agreements with Hudl for the Athletics Program at Paloma Valley High School and Perris High School.
