Summary:

SgtMaj David Sibley requests approval for 21 student cadets and 2 adults to attend California Cadet Corps (CACC) Annual Summer Camp located at Camp San Luis Obispo, California, from June 19-27, 2021.
The intent of this camp is to enhance the mental and physical fitness abilities of our student cadets in an outdoor team environment. It is of the utmost importance for our student cadets to attend to meet CACC requirements on the Annual General Inspection. This camp will not only benefit our student cadets to attend, but it would also benefit the California Military Academy. Cadets will have the opportunity to attend Leadership and Advance courses to teach them to use newly acquired skills daily.
Transportation will be provided via a charter bus. CACC will provide lodging and meals as part of the summer camp. The total cost of cadets' attendance will be $3,150.

The cost for this item is included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through the California Military Institute CMD-MOU Fund, not the California Military Institute General Fund.
