Summary:
|
The District requests to utilize the Riverside Unified School District Piggybackable RFP #2017/18-10 for Milk, Dairy, Fruit Juice, and Ice Cream products as Awarded to Hollandia Dairy. The Riverside Unified School District conducted a competitive solicitation process to purchase milk, dairy, fruit juice, and ice cream products and awarded the contract to Hollandia Dairy on June 5, 2018. On April 28, 2022, the RUSD Governing Board approved to extend the contract with Hollandia Dairy for a one (1) year term; this contract will be valid from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.
After thorough consideration, the District has determined that it is in the District's best interest to piggyback off of RFP #2017/18-10 as awarded to Hollandia Dairy for the 2022-23 school year.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through Nutrition Services, not the General Fund.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 36:21-22 - Resolution Authorizing Piggybacking for the Purchase of Milk, Dairy, Fruit Juice, and Ice Cream Products.
