Summary:

The District's Educational Services Department has made recommendations for our district-wide course catalog updates. At this time, we are submitting a new Career Technical Education(CTE) course in the RCOE Entrepreneurship/Self Employment Sector: RCOE Advanced Business Management. This course is not yet A-G approved; however, RCOE is in the process of completing that step.
RCOE Advanced Business Management is a course where students will learn the elements and develop a business plan. Students will explore and identify business opportunities that will ultimately lead to creating a business plan for a small business. Students will investigate tools and best practices that focus on the business plan, including marketing, finance, customer needs, and competitive factors.
This course is geared for grades eleven and twelve students and is the capstone course in Advanced Entrepreneurship/Self-Employment.
The Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services has approved the above courses.
