Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District Aspire District Counselors respectfully request approval from the Board of Education to attend the 2023 College Board Forum in New York, New York, November 1-3, 2023. The PUHSD ASPIRE Counseling Team applied and has been accepted to present at this year's College Board Forum National Conference. The team will present their systems and data, which led to a 10% increase in the PUHSD A-G Rate. The team will also attend the conference to network with educators across the country and explore best practices for academic readiness and student success.
Forum brings together dynamic education professionals and thought leaders across disciplines to address access and success issues that challenge—and inspire—educators at all levels and in all professions.
The Forum Program Planning Committee is committed to a program relevant to the current world of education. The conference represents an opportunity for educators facing unprecedented challenges to be inspired and take away best practices.
This year's Forum will provide higher ed and K–12 educators the space to focus, reflect, and respond to the day's critical issues.

The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through Local Control and Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.
