Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District is requesting approval to restore the Plant Supervisor position and reclassify the two Custodial Supervisors as Plant Supervisors effective October 21, 2021. Additionally, the District is requesting to fill two additional Plant Supervisor positions for a total of four (4) Plant Supervisors. This will enable the District to place a Plant Supervisor at each high school to oversee the daily facility operations/maintenance, including management of custodial staff.
Attached is a copy of the Plant Supervisor job description approved at the June 20, 2018, governing board meeting. There will be no change in salary for this position.

The cost for this item is included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through Various COVID Funds, Maintenance Fund, and the General Fund.

Recommendation:

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the request to restore the Plant Supervisor position and reclassify the current Custodial Supervisor position as a Plant Supervisor.
