Summary:
|
One of the eight State priorities of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is to increase parent involvement and communication. The Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) and the California Military Institute (CMI) have been using BlackBoard Connect for communicating with parents by phone, email, and text messaging regarding emergency notifications, student attendance, various school activities, and announcements.
The term of this Renewal Agreement shall be from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023. The total cost of $17,763.79, including tax comprises 10,637 user licenses. There are 9,604 PUHSD user licenses for a total of $16,038.68, including tax. There are 1,033 CMI user licenses for a total of $1,725.11, including tax. Blackboard will send separate invoices for PUHSD and CMI. PUHSD will bill CMI per the Agreement.
This Agreement is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the contract and services being negotiated after the June 2022 Board meeting deadlines.

The cost for this item is included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds and the Charter Fund, not the General Fund.
