Summary:
|
The District would like to implement a threat response management system to phishing, including simulated phishing email tests connected to staff awareness training. PUHSD has taken steps to reduce the threat to the district by enforcing 2 Factor Authorization (2FA) on all district accounts, and that is a big step in preventing a successful phishing attack. However, the District needs to do more to protect our weakest components to safeguard personal and confidential information. Simulated phishing email tests and staff awareness training can help educate staff on the common and pervasive phishing scams and minimize the threat of phishing.
KnowBe4 is a threat response management provider and will provide simulated phishing tests, staff training, and email management resources to help detect and mitigate threats to the district.
The term of this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from the date of signing at a cost not to exceed $38,324.

The cost for this item is included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through the General Fund.
