Summary:
|
The Board of Trustees previously approved, and the District has undertaken the facilities project known as the Liberty High School Project, which consists of constructing a new high school facility. On March 20, 2019, the Board of Trustees awarded the contract to Pro-Craft Construction, Inc. (“Pro-Craft”) in the amount of $4,470,000 for all services related to site plumbing on the Liberty High School Campus. During the completion of Pro-Craft’s scope of work, repair to a damaged storm lateral drain line became necessary. This damage occurred during the course of constructing the campus and was not attributable to a specific event that damaged the line. The District requested the repair by Pro-Craft take place immediately to mitigate delays and to complete work in the area of the broken lateral storm drain line. The cost of this repair was $2,677.72
This is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need to mitigate schedule impacts to the Liberty High School Project.
