Summary:

On December 15, 2021, B.J. Singfield, Paloma Valley High School NJROTC Instructor, was approved by the Board of Trustees to send fifty (50) cadets and four (4) adult chaperones to represent Paloma Valley High School at the NJROTC Nationals at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, that will be held March 29-April 5, 2022.
MSgt. Frank Puebla, PVHS NJROTC Instructor, is requesting permission to attend the PVHS NJROTC Nationals in Pensacola, Florida, from March 30 - April 3, 2022.
The NJROTC Nationals remain the most comprehensive test of overall JROTC training and performance in existence today. This year, many of the nation's finest NJROTC units from each of the eleven Navy Areas will make themselves a part of this exciting academic, athletic, and drill competition. No competition in the world of JROTC provides a better test of overall program quality and esprit-de-corps than the "Navy Nationals."
The schools selected to attend are nominated by their Navy Area Managers, usually based on top finishes at area/state-level competitions with similar rules and guidelines or possibly vital programs with a hunger to compete against the best.
Transportation will be arranged via airplane. The group will fly from Los Angeles Airport to New Orleans, Louisiana. A charter bus paid for through the NJROTC Program Office will provide transportation to the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida.
All expenses will be paid from Paloma Valley High School's ESSER II fund.
