Summary:
|
The Perris High School (PHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Officers respectfully request ratification for their Section Officer Leadership Training at Cal Poly Pomona, California, on August 6-7, 2021. The FFA Section Officers Leadership Training is a critical component of the leadership program in the FFA organization. Through agricultural education, FFA makes a positive difference in students' lives by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
One (1) agriculture teacher, Mr. Douglas Cousins, will chaperone. There will be two (2) chapter officers (students) participating. Transportation will be provided by the teacher driving a District vehicle.
This item is being brought forward as ratification due to the Agriculture teacher submitting the Field Trip request at the end of July 2021.

The cost for this item is included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through Perris High School's Associated Student Body Future Farmers of America Fund, not the General Fund.
