Summary: Ms. Kathryn Lennertz, Paloma Valley High School's Key Club Advisor, is requesting permission for a Paloma Valley High School Student to attend the Kiwanis C-N-H District Convention in Reno, Nevada, from March 30, 2022, to April 3, 2022. In addition, she is requesting permission for the Key Club to fund the student's registration in the amount of $215.00.

The PVHS student was voted in during the Kiwanis Conclave on Saturday, January 22, 2022, as the next Lieutenant Governor for the Division 37 North, representing thirteen (13) schools from Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee areas. The installation of her term is taking place at the District Convention held at the Grand Sierra Resort located at 2500 E. 2nd Street in Reno, Nevada.

Mrs. Carolyn Qualm is the Region Advisor and has stated that the Kiwanis of Temecula will cover the cost of airline tickets, hotel, transportation, and meals. The PVHS student will be in the care of Mrs. Qualm during the trip.

It has been nearly ten years since Paloma Valley High School's Key Club has had an LTG voted in to represent Division 37 North. This is truly a great honor to our District. The PVHS Key Club would be truly grateful for the opportunity to have the PVHS student attend this important leadership training and installation for the 2022-23 term.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through Paloma Valley High School's Key Club Associated Student Body Fund, not the General Fund.
