Summary:
|
The District recommends that the Board of Trustees approve the new job description for Teacher on Special Assignment - Career Technical Education (CTE), and authorize recruitment for the position.
This position is designed to support Career Technical Education (CTE) initiatives beyond the traditional classroom setting. The TOSA – CTE will serve as both a Liaison and Coordinator, focusing on developing and expanding work-based learning opportunities, acting as a liaison between the district, community college partners, industry representatives, and other stakeholders, and providing direct support for program implementation across multiple school sites. This role is essential to the continued development and alignment of CTE Programs within the district.
This position is scheduled to begin at the start of the 2025–26 school year.
