Summary: The District's Educational Services Department has made recommendations for our district-wide course catalog updates. At this time, we are submitting a new Career Technical Education (CTE) course in the RCOE Entrepreneurship/Self Employment Sector: RCOE Applied Business E-Commerce. This course meets the UC/CSU A-G requirement "G."
 
RCOE Applied Business E-Commerce is a course where students learn about electronic commerce focusing on business and technology issues in today's local and global market. Students will explore the theory and practice of conducting business transactions, marketing strategies, and trending revenue models over the Internet and the World Wide Web. As a result, students will design an E-Commerce Plan for their individual businesses that convert and retains new customers.  
 
The Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services has approved the above course.
