Summary: The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into three (3) Service Agreements with Behavioral Autism Therapies, LLC, for services to be rendered for three individual students. The services include a one-to-one (1:1) Behavior Intervention Specialist to provide intervention strategies and communication approaches to minimize potential student escalation. The specialist will also collaborate with District staff and providers regarding the needs of each student. The services include an ABA Certified Supervisor to document interventions, collaborate with all necessary staff, and attend IEP meetings to disseminate information. The terms of these Agreements shall be from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, at an estimated combined total cost of $271,110 based on services known to date.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2024-25 operating budget funded through Special Education, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreements with Behavioral Autism Therapies, LLC for behavior intervention services as required.
