Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District and Operation Socrates wish to enter into an Internship Agreement to support military service members and veterans in becoming K-12 teachers. Candidates will receive resources, career counseling, and guidance for becoming K-12 teachers.
In accordance with Education Code 44461, the supervisory help and guidance of interns as they pursue their school district responsibilities are essential for the success of such (intern) programs. The utilization of competent and qualified college and university staff members for this purpose is encouraged. To help achieve this end, school districts and county superintendents of schools, in the case of joint recommendations, may enter into agreements with colleges and universities for the employment of staff for such supervision.
The term of this Agreement shall be for three (3) years, from January 17, 2024, through January 16, 2027.
