Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District requests to enter into an Agreement with the Regents of the University of California for the University of California, Riverside (UCR) Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts. The Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts at UCR brings talented UCR students into the most needed areas of the Riverside community to teach and perform the arts for free. School-aged children receive powerful and memorable classroom visits from enthusiastic UCR students who give them direct exposure to visual arts, art history, music, dance, and writing experiences that they would not otherwise have. The Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts also facilitates visits to the UCR campus for events that give school children the opportunity to “feel at home” on campus and be inspired to consider pursuing a college education and a lifetime in the arts.
The term of this Agreement shall be for three (3) years from August 19, 2021, through July 31, 2024.
