Summary:
|
The District would like to renew the Agreement with P&R Paper Supply Company (P&R) for paper product distribution services for the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program and the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) for the 2023-24 school year.
The original Agreement was approved by the Board on May 18, 2022, and allowed for up to two (2) additional one (1) year term renewals upon mutual written consent for a maximum of three (3) years, in accordance with Education Code Section 81644. Amendment No. 1 is the second term of this Agreement and shall be from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, at an estimated cost of $275,000 based on current market prices.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through Nutrition Services, not the General Fund.
