Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to renew their contract with Oak Grove Center at the Ranch (Oakgrove) to provide breakfast and lunch to their students. The administration at Oak Grove Center at the Ranch understands that good nutrition and education go hand-in-hand. Charter schools have several options to provide meals to their students, but both Oak Grove and the District believe it is better to serve the students of our community from within the community. The District agrees to provide meals in compliance with the National School Lunch Program. Meals will be prepared and delivered daily out of the kitchen at Pinacate Middle School. The contract stands to generate an estimated additional $40,000 for the 2025-26 school year for the Nutrition Services Department.
The term of this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
