Summary:
Nutrition Services is requesting to renew the District’s participation in the Super Co-op Agreement for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) commodity foods. Due to competitive pricing leveraged by the Super Co-Op, Nutrition Services has determined that it is in the best interest of the District to utilize the Agreement for the 2021-22 school year.  
Funding:
The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through the Nutrition Services Fund, not the General Fund.  
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the annual renewal of Services Agreement for membership in the Super Co-Op for the United States Department of Agriculture Foods for the 2021-22 school year.
