PUHSD administration is recommending an increase to the health and welfare contribution for District Management employees. The Principal/Commandant position at CMI is an employee of PUHSD, and would therefore be provided the same benefits as PUHSD Management employees. However, the Assistant Principal/Executive Officer positions are employees of the charter school. In order to create parity, it is recommended CMI Management employees receive the same health and welfare benefits as PUHSD Management employees, effective July 1, 2025 as follows:
Anthem Single: increase by $525, making the annual contribution $12,000
Anthem Two-Party: increase by $1,350, making the annual contribution $22,000
Anthem Family: increase by $1,350, making the annual contribution $21,000
Kaiser Single: increase by $525, making the annual contribution $12,000
Kaiser Two-Party: increase by $1,450, making the annual contribution $19,800
Kaiser Family: increase by $1,450, making the annual contribution $18,800. |

The cost for this item will be included in the 2025-26 budget and multi-year projections. |

Recommendation
|
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the increase to health and welfare contributions for California Military Institute Management Employees as presented. |
