Summary:
Instructure, Inc., formerly Parchment, is a secure digital credentialing platform that enables schools to efficiently manage and send academic records such as transcripts, diplomas, and enrollment verifications. The system streamlines the process of fulfilling student and alumni requests while ensuring compliance with FERPA and other privacy standards. Instructure also allows students to track their requests and send documents to colleges, employers, or other institutions with ease. The use of the Instructure subscription is supplemental and being proposed as a support service to improve the efficiency and accessibility of academic record management for students and staff. The term of this Agreement shall be for three (3) years from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028. The cost for this item is $28,015 for year one, $29,791.30 for year two, and $31,578.78 for year three, to be paid annually, for a total contract cost of $89,385.08.  
Funding:
The cost for this item will be included in the 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 operating budgets funded through Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.  
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Multi-Year Agreement with Instructure, Incorporated for transcript services.
