Captain David K. Sibley has submitted various overnight field trip requests for California Military Institute (CMI) cadets to participate in the 2023 Xtreme Team Challenge Competition in Porterville, California, October 27-28, 2023.
CMI has various cadets of the California Cadet Corps 10th Corps Headquarters. These cadets are scheduled to participate in the monthly Headquarters Cadet Corps (HQCACC) meetings and other events and competitions. The California Cadet Corps is a school-based, applied leadership program conducted within a military framework and designed to provide maximum growth and leadership opportunities for cadets from elementary through high school levels. These events will benefit our student cadets by developing their leadership skills, building better relationships with outside agencies, making our cadets more competitive, and gaining knowledge to keep our cadets more informed. They will also benefit the California Cadet Corps by providing input from the California Military Institute, the largest school in the California Cadet Corps.
Twenty-three (23) cadets will be transported to Porterville, California, with six (6) chaperones in site vans to participate in the CACC Xtreme Team Challenge Competition. |
