Summary:
The Perris Union High School District is requesting to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Regents of the University of California, Riverside (UCR), for a partnership that will provide school psychology practicum training experience opportunities. The District will offer qualified graduate-level school psychology students the opportunity for practicum training experiences under the direct supervision of a district school psychologist. The district school psychologist supervisor will be provided a stipend by the University in an amount not to exceed $250 for those who exclusively supervise first-year practicum students or an amount not to exceed $500 for those who supervise any second, third, or fourth-year practicum students in appreciation for their supervision. The term of this Agreement shall be for five (5) years, from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2029.

Recommendation
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Memorandum of Understanding with the Regents of the University of California, Riverside School for Psychology Practicum Training Experience.
