Summary:
|
In accordance with the new law, Education Code 39800.1, school districts are required to develop a Home to School Transportation Plan in consultation with various educational partners. Board approval on or before April 1, 2023, is required in order to receive additional Transportation funding. The Plan will require annual approvals for future school years, with this initial submittal covering both the current 2022-23 and the subsequent 2023-24 school years and meeting the requirements of Ed. Code 39800.1 will grant the District additional transportation funding equal to 60% of the previous year’s total transportation expenditures. |
