LTC John Kirkland requests twenty (20) JROTC cadets from Perris High School to camp and volunteer at the 2023 California Triathlon Lake Perris in Perris, California, April 22-23, 2023.
This race is enclosed within an 8,200-acre rugged playground. There will be 14 event options. 7 Olympic distance events (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and 7 Sprint distance events (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run). Triathlon = swim + bike + run. Triathlon Relay is 2 or 3 athletes combined to complete the triathlon.
The Perris High School cadets will camp at Lake Perris on Friday, April 22, 2023, to Saturday, April 23, 2023. They will volunteer to assist with setup, registration, on-course support, tear down, and make the race safer and more enjoyable for our community.
Twenty (20) students and two (2) chaperones will volunteer at the 2023 Cal Tri-Lake Perris event. There are no fees or costs. Students will be dropped off and picked up by their parent or guardian. |
