The Superintendent is requesting approval for a new job description for Director of Technology. This position will be considered a classified management position, and the salary range for this position will be #250, Row 2. Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation, the Director of Technology will develop and implement the district’s technology strategies, ensuring alignment with educational and operational goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT infrastructure, integrating digital tools into learning, managing cybersecurity, and leading staff training programs. The Director will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance student outcomes and improve administrative efficiency. After reviewing the job description, it was determined that the job functions and qualifications needed to be updated to accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities, experience, and certifications. The last update was on July 16, 2003. |
