Summary:
|
The California Military Institute (CMI) would like to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council in partnership with Riverside and San Bernardino County School Districts, charitable foundations, corporations, and local community leaders to provide the Classroom to Career - Developing Tomorrow’s Female Leaders Today Program. This program will address the issues affecting women and girls today, including the “skills” gap, the gender wage gap, and the under-representation of women in STEM/STEAM careers. This initiative was developed to help girls become better prepared for the challenges of the 21st Century Workplace. The program features site visits, hands-on experiences, and interactions with female STEM professionals. This program is provided through a generous grant and the funding partners of the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio for the 2023-24 school year. |
