Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to continue to contract with Gaggle.Net, Inc. (“Gaggle”) for the purchase of Gaggle Safety Management. Gaggle Safety Management for Google will be used to discover and alert staff to inappropriate words and images in Gmail, attachments, docs, and Drive files. This includes an anti-pornography scanner and ensures compliance on all U.S. privacy and safety laws (Children's Internet Protection Act---CIPA; Children's Online Privacy Protection Act--COPPA; Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act--FERPA: and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act--HIPAA).
The total amount of this Agreement is $53,685.00. The cost will be split between the District and the California Military Institute (CMI) based on projected enrollment percentages for each school year. The total cost for the District will be $49,048.57. The total cost for CMI will be $4,636.43 which will be billed as a direct cost to CMI per the Memorandum of Understanding between the PUHSD and CMI. |
