Summary:

|
The Perris Union High School District ("District") and the City of Perris ("City") seek to enter into an agreement memorializing the terms related to the City's anticipated improvements to local crosswalks including flashing beacons and other signals ("Crosswalk Improvements") and cross gutter and ramp modifications to existing streets and sidewalks ("Driveway Improvements") on or near certain Property adjacent to the Perris High School ("Property"). Because the improvements will be made on streets and sidewalks adjacent to the District's Property, the City requires a temporary right to enter upon a portion of the Property. The purpose of this MOU is to facilitate these improvements, which will provide direct benefits to the students of Perris High School during drop-off and pickup times. The District has agreed to contribute 50%, up to $400,000, for the Crosswalk Improvements to be constructed by the City. |
