Summary:
The California Military Institute (CMI) is requesting to enter into an Agreement with THINK Together, Inc. (THINK), a California nonprofit corporation, to provide an after-school program for students through the After School Educational and Safety Grant (ASES). THINK will supply the staff, materials, management, supervision, and volunteer recruitment for the after-school program. The term of this Agreement shall be for two (2) years from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026. THINK will be paid a prorated amount of the grant award from the California Department of Education according to Attachment A, attached to the Agreement, in the amount of $162,185.81.  
Funding:
The cost for this item will be included in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 operating budgets funded through the After School Educational and Safety Grant, not the Charter General Fund.  
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Multi-Year Agreement with THINK Together, Incorporated to provide an After-School Program for the California Military Institute.
