Summary:
|
The administration is recommending an increase to the District health and welfare contribution for Management, Confidential, and Unrepresented employees.
A cap was placed on the District contribution towards health and welfare for this group of employees in July 2011. Since then, the Board of Trustees has, when feasible, approved an increase to the District contribution to all employee groups consistent with the increased amount provided to PSEA under their 80% soft-cap structure. The increase PSEA receives, relative to the cost of 1% salary increase, is then applied to other employee groups. The annual increase calculated to be applied to PSEA out of contractual responsibility is .51%. A tentative agreement was reached with CSEA on April 1, 2025 that increased the District contribution towards health and welfare accordingly by the equivalent of .51% .
The administration is recommending an increase, effective July 1, 2025, to the District contribution for Management, Confidential and Unrepresented employees, equivalent to a .51% salary increase, consistent with the increase for CSEA and PSEA as follows:
Anthem Single: increase by $525, making the annual contribution $12,000
Anthem Two-Party: increase by $1,350, making the annual contribution $22,000
Anthem Family: increase by $1,350, making the annual contribution $21,000
Kaiser Single: increase by $525, making the annual contribution $12,000
Kaiser Two-Party: increase by $1,450, making the annual contribution $19,800
Kaiser Family: increase by $1,450, making the annual contribution $18,800. |
