The California Military Institute requests approval from the Board of Trustees for an overnight field trip to attend the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) State Conference in Ontario, California, April 13-15, 2024.
California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) is a remarkable conference focused on developing young leaders in attendance. There are general sessions, workshops, inspirational speakers, and a service learning experience like an adult conference. It is an incredible opportunity for any young person to learn how to be a better leader, take those skills, and apply them back on their campuses. In addition, it allows students to connect with other ASB students in the area and garner experience and ideas through their conversations.
One (1) adult chaperone will accompany eight (8) CMI cadets/students. Transportation will be provided via a CMI van. |

The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through the Charter Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the Charter General Fund. |
