Heritage High School's Agriculture teacher, Jeremiah Perotti requests Board approval for the Heritage High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) students to attend the California State Leadership Conference at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, April 1-6, 2025.
The FFA Leadership Conference is an extension of the classroom and will strengthen what the students have learned through the curriculum. This trip aims to expand leadership skills by attending leadership workshops and activities. The skills acquired at these conferences are valuable tools that can be used immediately and after high school.
This is an overnight field trip of four (4) nights, with eighteen (18) students and two (2) adult chaperones. Transportation will be provided via District and site vehicles. |

The cost of this item is included in the 2024-25 operating budget funded through Heritage High School Future Farmers of America Associated Student Body Funds and Perkins V Grant Fund. |
